Chronic pain

Most knee patients are old people. This means knee pain is related with age. 

Knee pain refers to pain that occurs in and around your knee joint. It is made up of four main things: bones, cartilage, ligaments, and tendons. Knee pain can be caused by problems with the knee joint itself, or it can be caused by conditions affecting the soft tissues — ligaments, tendons, or bursa — that surround the knee. Worst case is no more cartilage left. Most issues are chronic. 

Many take glucosamine with minor pain and experience no improvement in many cases. The problem is poor distribution, not the lack of glucosamine. It is also questionable that glucosamine itself is able to get into knee joint. 
 

Acute pain

Knee problems and injuries most often occur during sports or recreational activities, work-related tasks, or home projects. Most are acute and can be recovered relatively in a short time unless bone is broken.

How to Help for Knee Pain

It is not easy to recreate or regenerate all four main things such as bone, ligament, tendon and cartilage. But it is possible to make patients walk with far less pain without a surgery. Remember one Korean old saying. 

“If there are no teeth, you have to live with gum.”

In order to achieve less pain or no pain, we have to find a cause or causes. These are totally deferent concept with western treatment: rest, pain killers and surgery.

Have you heard your grandma say, “We may have a rain tomorrow as I feel more knee pain”? Believe it or not there was a rain next day. Some may have experienced this with a swollen and/or red knee or ankle. Most don’t understand this and don’t know how to treat it. This is caused by DAMPNESS.   

There are many other examples. 

As we know already, pain means no oxygen and nutrition on the knee joints. This is because of poor blood circulation. We try to remove the cause of poor blood circulation. We call this Qi and Blood deficiency.

Some people feel much aching pain while walking, standing or pressing on the knee. This is caused by WIND

Most have never heard with these kinds of diagnoses. If we don’t know the right cause, it may be difficult to treat or take a longer time to treat. 

It is not good waiting for the meniscus to tear without proper treatments. Because that will cause more pain and it will end up being very expensive. But there is another kind of solution. There is an old Korean saying, “If we don’t have teeth, we have to live with gums.” This means if there is no cartilage or ligaments, we may be able to make muscles stronger. 

There are many ways to improve knee strength. 

Most common methods are ACUPUNCTURE and HERB. 

Simple exercise by YOU and US together makes many patients experience wonderful things on specific acupuncture points. This exercise can apply to any knee pains.

Psalm 34:8 says “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”

We may say “Get acupuncture & herb and see how good the result is.” Many experience good results with them. Of course you must do simple exercise in addition in your home in daily base recommended by us.

Everyone knows overweight is not good for knees. Weight loss is not easy to achieve even though everyone knows the answer. We can also help losing weight by herb.
